Tesco supermarket in Amersham evacuated after fire broke out in lighting distribution unit
The Tesco supermarket in London Road West, Amersham was evacuated for about an hour during the afternoon of Tuesday 23rd June 2015 after fire broke out in a lighting distribution unit in the roof space.
Firefighters were called at 1.38pm. Two fire appliances with crews were despatched to the incident from Amersham fire station and one from Chesham fire station.
A thermal imaging camera was used by firefighters at the scene who also isolated the electricity.
