Female cyclist seriously injured in collision on A355 at Gore Hill, Amersham

At 9.00am on Sunday 5th July 2015 a red Honda CR-V was travelling along the A355 at Gore Hill, Amersham when it was involved in a collision with a pedal cyclist heading in the same direction towards Beaconsfield.

The cyclist, a woman aged in her forties, sustained life-threatening injuries and is being treated at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.

PC Richard Martin, from Roads Policing and Tactical Support based in Amersham, said: ‘The female cyclist involved in this collision sustained serious head injuries. We would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or seen the red Honda CV in the area at the time.

Thames Valley Police are appealing for anyone who has information about the collision that could help with their enquiries to call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
