Man, 81, dies in collision between car and lorry on A41 Bicester Road, Aylesbury
At around 4.25pm on Friday 17th July 2015 police officers were called to the A41 Bicester Road, Aylesbury following a report of a collision between a blue Renault Clio and a white Scania lorry.
The Renault Clio was travelling towards Aylesbury while the Scania lorry was heading in the opposite direction. The driver of the Renault Clio, an 81 year old man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver from the Scania lorry was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital with minor injuries.
Investigating officer, PC Ryan Whiles of the Roads Policing Department based at Milton Keynes, said: ‘We would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything relating to this incident, in particular two men who were walking past at the time of the collision.
We would also be keen to speak to the occupants of a blue mini and a red vehicle seen at the site of the collision.‘
