Boy, 16, from Beaconsfield charged with arson and witness intimidation

A 16 year old boy from Beaconsfield has been charged with arson, handling stolen goods and witness intimidation by Thames Valley Police.

The boy was arrested on Thursday 28th May 2015 and charged on Saturday 18th July 2015 with one count of arson, one count of handling stolen goods, one count of conspiring to commit witness intimidation and two counts of witness intimidation.

The charges relate to an incident of arson to a garden shed on the A355 Amersham Road, Beaconsfield on Monday 18th May 2015 and the handling of stolen goods following a burglary at Burgess Wood Road South, Beaconsfield.

The witness intimidation relates to threatening messages on Facebook on Sunday 21st June 2015, the approach of a witness in a public place and a plan to throw a brick through the window of a witness.

The boy was bailed to appear at High Wycombe Youth Court on Saturday 8th August 2015.
