Thames Valley Police launch appeal to find victim of Hazlemere robbery

Thames Valley Police has launched an appeal for information to find the victim of a robbery in Hazlemere.

A member of the public witnessed a robbery in Amersham Road, opposite Dominoes Pizza, at about 9.20am on Monday 7th September 2015.

During the incident, the victim, a man in his late teens to mid twenties, was approached by another young man or boy. The offender hit the victim over the head and then grabbed the victim’s shoulder bag before making off on foot.

So far Thames Valley Police has been unable to identify the victim.

Investigating officer, Case Investigator Sandra Faux of Local CID based at High Wycombe police station, said: ‘This is a serious offence but thus far we have been unable to identify the victim, who has not come forward to report the robbery.

We would appeal to anyone who was in the vicinity of Amersham Road yesterday at about 9.00am and saw anything suspicious, or anyone who thinks they might know the victim to visit your nearest police station or call us on 101.
