Witnesses appeal launched following serious road traffic collision at Lower Road, Stoke Mandeville

A witnesses appeal has been launched by Thames Valley Police after a woman was seriously injured in a road traffic collision at Lower Road near to Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

At about 12.40am on Sunday 6th September 2015 a black Audi A3 was being driven along Lower Road near to Stoke Mandeville Hospital when it left the road.

The vehicle entered a ditch and collided with a hedge before coming to rest on its roof.

The front seat passenger, a 23 year old woman, suffered fractures to her back and ribs and a suspected punctured lung. She is currently being treated at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

Investigating officer, PC Steve Leathersich of the Roads Policing Unit based at Milton Keynes police station, said: ‘I would appeal to anyone who saw a black Audi A3 being driven in the area prior to the collision or the collision itself to contact police via 101 quoting reference 72 (6/9).
