Hay bales caught fire near Hellfire Caves in West Wycombe – Arson suspected

Firefighters were called to Church Lane, West Wycombe, near the Hellfire Caves at 12.50am on Saturday 17th October 2015 after some hay bales were found to be on fire.

One fire appliance with crew attended from High Wycombe fire station.

Water backpacks and hay drags were used during the operation to extinguish the fire.

It is suspected that the fire was started deliberately.
