Woman, 42, from High Wycombe admits an offence under the Dangerous Dogs Act
A 42 year old woman of Tilling Crescent, High Wycombe has admitted an offence under the Dangerous Dogs Act after a dog attacked a dog walker and killed her pet.
The woman pleaded guilty at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 12th November 2015 to a charge of being the person in charge of a dangerous dog which caused injury.
The charge related to an incident that occurred in Buckingham Drive, High Wycombe on Saturday 11th July 2015 during which a large brown mastiff dog ran towards the 42 year old victim and attacked her long-haired Chihuahua.
During the incident the mastiff caused serious injuries to the victim’s right hand and left arm. The mastiff then ran off and into a property in nearby Tilling Crescent.
Sadly the victim’s Chihuahua died during the incident.
The woman was released on unconditional bail to appear at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 24th November 2015.
