| November 24, 2015

The first draw for the online Vale Lottery in Aylesbury will take place on Saturday 28th November 2015.

Since the launch on Friday 6th November 2015 almost 500 players signed up who have purchased over 800 tickets.

More than 60 good causes are on board, enabling them to receive much-needed money, whilst giving their supporters the chance to win the £20,000 jackpot. The organisations include  disability groups, animal charities, sports clubs, theatre groups and schools.

Cllr Janet Blake, Cabinet Member for Business Transformation at Aylesbury Vale District Council said: ‘The Vale Lottery aims to provide local good causes with the financial help they need to keep their vital work going in our community. The response to the lottery’s launch has been fantastic and we’re delighted at the number of local residents getting on board. It couldn’t be easier to sign up, so I encourage anyone who hasn’t yet done so to go online and get their ticket!
