Flackwell Heath Christmas lights switch-on to take place on Sat 28th Nov 2015

| November 26, 2015

On Saturday 28th November 2015 the Christmas lights will be switched on in Flackwell Heath.

The festivities start at 3.00pm with a tea party for primary school age children in the main hall of the Community Centre, which will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland, while everyone else enjoys a selection of soft drinks and biscuits.

Afterwards the children will be able to meet Father Christmas in his grotto tickets for which will be given on the door to avoid queuing.

A Carol Service will take place in Jubilee Garden starting at 5pm and led by Reverend Chris Bull and accompanied by the West Wycombe Brass Band.

Illuminated by torch light (please bring your own) the festive singing will unite the village as we wait for the Christmas lights to be turned on.

The village Christmas tree lights will be switched on by the winners of the schools colouring competition, signalling the start of the festive season.

After the Christmas lights are turned everyone is welcomed back into the Community Centre to warm up with mulled wine (for the adults), juice and mince pies.

Further information on the event, organised by the Flackwell Heath Residents’ Association and the Community Association, can be found on the Flackwell Heath Village website.
