Quiz Night raises £1,300 for Scannappeal

A Quiz Night held at Hazlemere Golf Club raised over £1300 for the Scannappeal Sound Appeal for Amersham Hospital.

Twenty teams, each comprising eight people, took part in the event which was held on Friday 13th November 2015 from 7.30 pm to 10.30pm.

A lot of fun was had amid some stiff competition for the covered silver trophy plus a bottle of wine for each member of the winning table along with a tasty fish and chip supper.

The runners up and winners were :

• 1st place – Marlow Hill (previously known as 5 x fish who won in March)
• 2rd place – Unlucky for some
• Joint 3rd place – The 49’ers and Hells Bells

The wooden spoon winners were the Curzon codgers.
