Fire broke out in block of flats in High Wycombe

Firefighters were called Oakridge Road, High Wycombe during the early hours of Saturday 26th December 2016 after fire broke out in a corridor on the first floor of a block of flats.

At 4.33am two fire appliances with crews were despatched to the incident from High Wycombe fire station and one from Beaconsfield fire station. An officer also attended the scene.

A hose reel, two sets of breathing apparatus and a Positive Pressure Ventilation fan were used during the operation to extinguish the fire.
