Two men arrested following shooting incident in Downley

On Thursday 31st December 2015 Thames Valley Police arrested two men in connection with an assault in Downley, High Wycombe.

A 20 year old man from Prestwood was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning GBH and a 22 year old man from High Wycombe was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning GBH and possession of a firearm.

Both arrested men are currently in police custody.

The arrests are in connection with an incident that occurred at around 5.30pm on Sunday 27th December 2015 in which a man aged his early thirties was found with injuries consistent to him being shot with a shotgun, in Hithercroft Road, Downley.

The victim was treated in hospital for non life threatening injuries.
