Six cars damaged in fire at storage yard in Chesham

Fire broke out in a storage yard containing 50 cars and eight ISO containers at Latimer Road, Chesham during the early hours of Thursday 21st January 2016.

Firefighters were called at 1.37am. One fire appliance with crew attended from Chesham fire station, two from Amersham fire station, one from Great Missenden fire station and one from Beaconsfield fire station. An officer also attended the incident.

Two hose reels and two sets of breathing apparatus were used during the operation to extinguish the fire.

Six cars were damaged by fire and three ISO containers slightly damaged by fire.
