Zoolander 2 sees the return of male model Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller) fifteen years after the original Zoolander film was released in 2001.
Derek and his catwalk friend Hansel (Owen Wilson) return to find themselves cruelly dismissed as old and irrelevant. Then someone starts murdering the world’s most beautiful people, who are all found sporting Derek’s iconic ‘Blue Steel’ pose.
Interpol Fashion Division agent Valentina (Penelope Cruz) recruits Derek and Hanzel to go undercover in the world of high fashion, which is now dominated by plastic surgery enthusiast Alexanya Atoz (Kristen Wiig).
During their investigation Derek and Hansel soon find that all roads lead to their old foe, Mugatu (Will Ferrell).
The cast of the satirical file includes a host of great star cameos from Benedict Cumberbatch to Justin Bieber.
REVIEW : I felt this film promised a lot but delivered very little. Although given a 12A certificate there are scenes, especially those which contain ‘sex references’, which could leave any adult accompanying children to a screening with some very difficult questions to answer.
