Harrison Ford ‘Star Wars’ injury prosecution to be heard at High Wycombe Magistrates Court
Representatives of the production company behind ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens‘ will appear at High Wycombe Magistrates Court on Thursday 12th May 2016 following a decision by the Health And Safety Executive to bring four charges against them.
The prosecution relates to an incident in which Harrison Ford broke his leg when the actor was struck by a hydraulic metal door on the set of the Millennium Falcon at Pinewood Studios in June 2014.
Harrison Ford was airlifted to hospital for surgery following the incident.
Taking more than $2bn worldwide ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens‘ is the most successful film ever at the UK Box Office. Production of ‘Star Wars: Episode VIII‘ is already taking place at Pinewood with a release date currently set for December 2017.
