Wycombe Wanderers 1-0 Mansfield Town

Over 5,000 fans packed into Adams Park on Good Friday 25th March 2016 to see Wycombe Wanderers take on Mansfield Town.

Wycombe made a brisk start to the match, in the seventeenth minute Garry Thompson’s right footed shot from outside the box was saved in the centre of the goal Mansfield Goal. Just two minutes later Wycombe’s Luke O’Nien took a shot from outside the Mansfield box but missed to the left.

Mansfield had their chances but when half time arrived the match was still goalless.

However Wycombe made the breakthrough in the sixty eighth minute thanks to a long range left footed shoot from Michael Harriman which found the top left corner of the Mansfield net.

A single goal was enough to win the match for Wycombe who climbed one place to seventh in League Two meaning the Blues are back in the play off zone thanks to Leyton Orient losing away to Accrington by a single goal.

Wycombe were bay far the more dominant team today and the match show the Blues achieved 57% possession. Wycombe made thirteen shots at the Mansfield goal of which four were on target. The match saw twenty seven fouls, fifteen by Wycombe players and twelve from Mansfield.

The attendance at Adams Park was 5,003 (216 from Mansfield Town.
