Two injured, one seriously, following GBH attack in Booker on Easter Bank Holiday Monday

At around 4.40pm on Easter Bank Holiday Monday 28th March 2016 police were called to Mentmore Road, Booker, High Wycombe following a report of an altercation between the occupants of a black Astra and a blue VW Golf.

Upon arrival at the scene police discovered two injured men, the injuries are believed to have been caused by a sharp implement. The injured men have been treated in hospital. One of the men has serious injuries.

Police have arrested two 18 year old men from High Wycombe on suspicion of GBH both of whom have been bailed until Sunday 15th May 2016.

On Tuesday 29th March 2016 a third man, aged 18, from High Wycombe was been arrested on suspicion of GBH and has been bailed until Monday 9th May 2016.

Det Insp Mark Baxter, from Force Crime, said: ‘I would appeal for anyone who has information about this incident to contact police on 101 quoting URN 1110 (28/3).

I ask that the community remain calm and if anyone has concerns please speak to members of the neighbourhood policing team who are in the area.
