Men armed with a metal pole and crowbar rob the Co-op in Bells Hill, Stoke Poges

At around 9.50pm on Saturday 2nd April 2016 five men entered the Co-op in Bells Hill. Two of the men were armed with a metal pole and a crowbar.

They threatened staff and then climbed over the counter. A quantity of cigarettes and cash were stolen. The men then left the scene in a blue Renault Megane car which was found abandoned in Duffield Lane.

No one was injured during the incident.

The men are describes as being of slim to medium build. Four of the men were wearing dark casual clothing with facial coverings and one was white and was wearing a light grey or white tracksuit and a facial covering.

Det Sgt Tracey Benham, from Aylesbury Force CID, said: ‘Officers are investigating the circumstances of this robbery and I would like to appeal for anyone with any information which could assist enquiries to contact police.

While no one was hurt during the robbery, this was a distressing incident for the staff involved so if you have any details which could help the investigation please come forward.

Thames Valley Police are appealing for anyone with any information about the incident to contact the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
