Former Millets shop in Church Street may become Retail/Drinking Establishment

Planning permission is being sought to change the use of the former Millets shop at 4-5 Church Street, High Wycombe, HP11 2DE from from A1 (Retail) use to mixed A1/A4 (Retail-Drinking Establishment) use.

Planning application, reference number 16/05906/FUL, was received by Wycombe District Council on Wednesday 30th March 2016 and validated on Thursday 7th April 2016. The expected decision date is Thursday 2nd June 2016.

The planning application is being made by The Red Squirrel Brewery based in Potten End, Hertfordshire to open a retail shop and tasting bar in High Wycombe. The brewery already has venues in Berkhampstead, Chesham and Amersham.

Four full time and two part time jobs would be created if the retail shop and tasting bar opens. The proposed opening hours at 12.00pm until 8.00pm Monday to Thursday, 12.00pm to 9.00pm Fridays, 10.a0pm to 9.00pm on Saturdays and 11.30am to 5.30pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
