Man, 33, who smashed police station window is sentenced to eight weeks imprisonment

A 33 year old man who smashed a window at Aylesbury police station and made threats to damage Chesham police station has been sentenced to eight weeks imprisonment.

Azhar Hussain, aged 33, of no fixed abode, was sentenced to eight weeks imprisonment on Thursday 14th April 2016.

During the early hours of Wednesday 13th April 2016, Hussain smashed a window at Aylesbury police station. At around 4.30pm, the same day, the 33 year old made threats that he would go to Chesham police station and cause damage.

Hussain was subsequently arrested and charged in connection with both offences and remanded in police custody overnight to appear before Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on the morning of Thursday 14th April 2016.

At court, he pleaded guilty to both offences and was sentenced to eight weeks imprisonment.
