Mayor of High Wycombe to hold charity fund raising Gala Dinner at John Hampden School on Sat 14th May 2016

The Mayor of High Wycombe, Councillor Mohammed Hanif, is holding a Gala Dinner at the John Hampden School in Marlow Hill, High Wycombe on Saturday 14th May 2016.

The dinner, which starts at 7.00pm and lasts until 11.45pm, will be the last charity fund raising event of Councillor Mohammed Hanif’s mayoral year.

Not only will it be the Mayors single biggest fund raising event of the year, but also an opportunity for the people and businesses of High Wycombe to meet and enjoy an evening of entertainment and culinary delights.

Funds raised will go to the Mayors chosen organisations, the Rennie Grove Hospice Care and One Can Hope.

The menu will be truly international with Asian starters, traditional British main course and a Caribbean dessert followed by tea of coffee. A vegetarian option will also be on offer. A paid bar with be available together with soft drinks.

Accompanying the dinner will be a roving magician, entertainment, music and dancing and lots more. The evening will also include a Silent and Grand Auction and ice breaker of Heads & Tails and table raffle.

Dress code for the event is a lounge suit or traditional attire.
