On the morning of Thursday 16th June 2016 a collision involving two cars and a lorry occurred on the Southbound carriageway of the M40 southbound between Junctions 4 (Handy Cross) and Junction 3 (Loudwater).
Firefighters were called at 8.18am. Two fire appliances with crews attended from High Wycombe fire station, one from Beaconsfield fire station and one from Slough fire station. An officer was also present at the scene.
Hydraulic rescue equipment was used by the firefighters to release an injured man from the vehicle in which he had been travelling.
A man and a woman, both uninjured, managed to escape from the vehicle in which they had been travelling before the firefighters arrived at the scene.
