Police appeal for witnesses following murder in Marlow on Wed 6th July 2016

The Thames Valley Police Major Crime Unit has launched an appeal for witnesses in connection with a murder which occurred near to Marlow Bottom on the morning on Wednesday 6th July 2016.

The police are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of a male who is suspected of being involved, prior to the incident.

The male is described as white, around 6ft tall, wiry build, with short cropped dark hair that is slightly longer on top than on the sides. He has very noticeable, pale blue eyes.

Senior Investigating Officer, Det Ch Supt Gilbert Houalla, Head of Crime for Thames Valley Police, said: ‘We are appealing for witnesses and would particularly like to speak to anyone who may have seen a man matching the description between the times of 10pm on Saturday 2nd July 2016, and 12pm (noon) on Sunday 3rd July 2016.

We are also keen to see if anyone saw a man matching the description between the times of 6pm on Tuesday 5th July 2016 and 8.00am on Wednesday 6th July 2016.

We would very much like the public’s help in this matter as it will help us greatly in our ongoing investigation and would ask them to contact us on 101 quoting reference number 530  07/07/2016.

A 23 year old man from High Wycombe arrested on suspicion of murder and remains under arrest. He is currently in hospital for medical treatment.
