Police appeal for witnesses following incident of disorder in High Wycombe

Following an incident of disorder in High Wycombe on Sunday 24th July 2016 a witness appeal has been launched by Thames Valley Police.

At around 8.10am on Sunday 24th July 2016 an altercation broke out at two neighbouring properties in Queens Road, High Wycombe when a group of men arrived at the properties and started arguing with the occupants. They gained entry to one and a number of electrical items were taken.

Police officers were called and arrested two men nearby.

Det Insp Mark Lacey said: ‘This is not believed to be a random incident, the perpetrators came looking for a particular person. And following the argument it appears a number of items were taken from the property.

We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident and who has not yet come forward to the police to call us on 101 quoting URN 422 24/7 or they can call Crimestoppers.

A 21 year old man from High Wycombe was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and criminal damage and a 44 year old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary both in connection with this incident.
