Horse box caught fire at Beaconsfield

A horse box caught fire on the A355 at Beaconsfield on the morning of Thursday 8th September 2016.

Firefighters were called at 8.59am. One fire appliance with crew attended from Beaconsfield fire station as well as one from Gerrards Cross fire station.

Two hose reels, two sets of breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera were used during the operation to extinguish the fire.

The horse was not injured and was led to safety before the firefighters arrived at the scene.
