Three men charged in connection with air pistol assaults in Wycombe
Three men have been charged by Thames Valley Police in connection with assaults that took place in High Wycombe.
On Saturday 17th September 2016 a 20 year old man and a 19 year old man, both of Chiltern Avenue, High Wycombe and a 21 year old man of Plumer Road, High Wycombe were all charged with the following :
- One count of possession of an imitation fire arm.
- Three counts of assault by beating.
- One count of using threatening/abusive/insulting words/behaviour with intent to cause fear of/provoke unlawful violence.
The charges relate to an incident that occurred on Friday 27th May 2016 in Bull Lane, Grafton Street and Suffield Road, High Wycombe where members of the public were shot at with a ‘BB’ style air pistol by offenders who were driving around in a car. The victims sustained bruising and did not require hospital treatment.
The three men were arrested on Friday 2th7 May 2017 and charged on Saturday 17th September 2016. They are due to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Friday 21st October 2016.
