Car, van and a lorry collide on the M40

At 10.50am on Thursday 29th September 2016 firefighters were called to the Southbound carriageway of the M40 following a collision involving a car, a van and a lorry.

The collision occurred between Junction 2 (Beaconsfield) and Junction 1a (M25 interchange).

One fire appliance with crew attended from Beaconsfield fire station, one from Gerrards Cross fire station and one from Slough fire station. An officer was also present at the scene.

The firefighters released two men from the vehicles in which they had been travelling, both men were suffering from what were believed to be minor injuries.
