Man injured as two cars collide in Bourne End

A collision involving two vehicles occurred in Chapman Lane, Bourne End during the afternoon of Saturday 29th October 2016.

Firefighters were called at 3.19pm. One fire appliance with crew from Princes Risborough fire station, which happened to be on standby in High Wycombe, attended as well as one fire appliance with crew from Maidenhead fire station. Two officers also attended.

Hydraulic rescue equipment was used by the firefighters to release an injured man from the wreckage of the vehicle in which he had been travelling.

Four other men and a woman managed to escape from the vehicles in which they had been travelling without the assistance of the firefighters.
