Wycombe Wanderers travelled to Doncaster Rovers for a League Two match on Saturday 29th October 2016.
Wycombe made a determined start to the match. In just the fifth minute Paris Cowan-Hall came close to scoring but his header was saved before it could find its way into the bottom left corner of the Doncaster net.
Matt Bloomfield put the Blues ahead in the nineteenth minute with a close range shot that found the centre of the Doncaster goal.
Sadly Wycombe’s lead wasn’t to last. Undeterred Doncaster brought the scores level ten minutes later when Tommy Rowe’s left footed shot found the top left corner of the Wycombe goal.
Just before half time, in the fortieth minute, John Marquis scored a second for Doncaster with a left footed shot taken from the centre of the box which sailed into the centre of the Wycombe goal.
Wycombe had plenty of chances in the second half but none came to fruition, until the seventy-eighth minute when Matt Bloomfield brought the scores level with a left footed shot from the centre of the box which found the the bottom right corner of the Doncaster goal.
Again Wycombe kept playing for the win and created several chances which tested the Doncaster goal keeper but the ball failed to find the back of their opponents net.
With the points shared Wycombe remain at twenty first position in League Two with sixteen points from fifteen games just one point away from the relegation zone.
The attendance at the Keepmoat Stadium was 5,287.
