Car and a lorry collided on the southbound carriageway of the M40

A collision involving a car and a lorry occurred on the Southbound carriageway of the M40 during the late evening of Tuesday 8th November 2016.

The collision occurred between Junction 2 (Beaconsfield) and Junction 1a (M25 interchange) and affected lane 3 of both carriageways.

Firefighters were called to the scene at 8.47pm. One fire appliance with crew attended from Beaconsfield fire station as well as one from Amersham fire station, one from High Wycombe fire station and one from Gerrards Cross fire station. An officer attended.

The firefighters made the vehicles safe.
