Chiltern District Council to hold Remembrance ceremony on Friday 11th November 2016

A Remembrance ceremony will be held by Chiltern District Council at 10.40am on Friday 11th November 2016.

The ceremony will take place at the flagpole outside the Chiltern District Council offices at King George V House, King George V Road, Amersham HP6 5AW.

Chiltern District Council’s Chairman, Councillor Mimi Harker OBE, will host the event and give a brief speech, followed by a bugler sounding the Last Post and readings from a Royal British Legion representative. The bugler sounding Reveille will conclude proceedings.

Residents and people passing by in the area are welcome to join in the ceremony and observe the two minutes silence and remember the fallen.

Remembrance poppies will be available in the Council’s reception area.
