Woman sustained serious head injuries during collision on A355 at Beaconsfield
An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following a serious injury collision in Beaconsfield.
On Saturday 12th November 2016, at about 11.20pm, a silver Merceces E 320 was involved in collision with a red Ford Focus on the A355.
The front seat passenger of the Mercedes, a woman aged in her fifties, sustained serious head injuries and was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
The driver of the Mercedes and the two occupants of the Ford Focus sustained minor injuries.
The road was closed while Roads Policing officers attended the scene and reopened by 3.00am on Sunday 13th November 2016.
Investigating officer PC Chris Fallon, from the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing based at Amersham, said: ‘I would like to speak to anyone who saw the collision in which a woman was seriously injured or who saw the vehicles travelling prior to the collision. Anyone with any information which could assist the investigation should contact police.‘
Thames Valley Police are appealing for anyone with any details about the collision to contact PC Fallon via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101 quoting URN 1605 12/11.
