Car caught fire following a collision on the A40 at Denham

A car caught fire following a collision involving two cars on the westbound entry slip road to the A40 at Denham during the early afternoon of Wednesday 11th January 2017.

At 1.43pm firefighters were called to the incident. One fire appliance with crew attended from Gerrards Cross fire station as well as one from Beaconsfield fire station. An officer also attended.

A hose reel was used during the operation to extinguish the fire.

Nobody was trapped as a result of the collision however a man and woman were left in the care of the ambulance service.
