Updated : Snow falls in High Wycombe for second day running (9.30am Fri 13th Jan 2017)

At approximately 9.30am on Friday 13th January 2017 snow fell in High Wycombe for the second day running.

The  light show shower which passed over Wycombe at 9.30am is expected to last for approximately an hour however it is not anticipated there will be any disruption to transport.

The snow is expected to turn to rain showers later in the day.

Transport for Buckinghamshire gritting crews will be on standby from 10.00am in case they are needed. A gritting run may take place on the roads during the afternoon of Friday 13th January 2017 if required.

Updated 3.30pm on Friday 13th January 2017 : By 11.30am the show shower had passed and at 3.00pm in the afternoon most of the snow that was laying on the ground had melted. With no further snow forecast life in High Wycombe has very much returned to normal.
