Luton Town were the guests at Adams Park on Saturday 21st January 2017 for a League Two match with Wycombe Wanderers.
The match got off to a flying start when in just the second minute Danny Hylton took a shot at the Wycombe goal but his shot, from a difficult angle, missed to the right.
A minute later a Paris Cowan-Hall header missed to the left of the Luton goal.
During the first half both teams made attempts to score but at half time the match remained goalless.
Luton went ahead in the fifty sixth minute when Scott Cuthbert headed home from the centre of the box, the ball finding the bottom right corner of the Wycombe goal.
Just seven minute later, in the eighty second minute, Wycombe equalised thanks to a header from Adebayo Akinfenwa.
When the final whistle blew the scores were still level and the points were shared. Wycombe remain in fifth place of League Two, still in the play off zone, with forty three points from twenty six games.
In today’s game Wycombe achieved 55% possession, of their fourteen shots on goal three were on target. Luton made ten attempts on the Wycombe goal of which three were on target.
The match saw twenty seven fouls, fourteen by Wycombe players and thirteen by Luton.
The attendance at Adams Park was 5,387 (1,800 from Luton Town).
