Chiltern District Council launches survey on creating local community lottery
Chiltern District Council has launched a survey on the creation of a new local community lottery.
The District Council is considering launching the local lottery to raise funds for local good causes.
A survey has been created to canvass views to help understand if the members of the local community or local organisation would support a local lottery in the Chiltern District that directly supported good causes.
A similar local lottery is currently operated by Aylesbury Vale District Council, the first draw in the Vale Lottery took place on Saturday 28th November 2015. The lottery, with a first prise of £25,000, has already raised tens of thousands of pounds for local good causes in the Aylesbury Vale District.
Further information, including a link to the survey, can be found on the Chiltern District Council website.
