Thames Water carry out emergency repairs following burst water main on A41 at Aylesbury
Engineers from Thames Water are to work through the night (of Tuesday 7th March 2017) to repair a burst water main on the A41 at Aylesbury.
While the emergency repairs take place, Transport for Buckinghamshire (TfB) have put measures in place to ease the traffic build up.
TfB have suspended repairs on critical routes into Aylesbury and monitored and adjusted traffic light timings where possible while Thames Water are operating their temporary traffic lights manually to ease traffic flows.
It is hoped that the emergency repair work by Thames Water will be completed by the end of Wednesday 8th March 2017.
