Two houses evacuated as police carry out drugs warrant in High Wycombe
On Friday 21st April 2017 a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act was executed at a property in Chiltern Avenue, High Wycombe by officers from Thames Valley Police.
As a precautionary measure two neighbouring properties were evacuated with the priority being the safety of the public. However nobody was injured during the execution of the warrant.
Police arrested a 48 year old woman and a 34 year old man from High Wycombe on suspicion of production of a controlled substance. A forensic investigation was carried out at the property.
Chief Inspector Graham Hadley, Deputy LPA commander for Wycombe, said: ‘We would like to thank the community for their patience and tolerance while we carry out this investigation.
We would urge anyone who sees suspicious activity in their neighbourhood which could relate to drug use or production to contact us on 101.‘
