Body of man found in The Dyke on The Rye, High Wycombe
The body of a man was found in The Dyke on The Rye in High Wycombe on the morning of Tuesday 25th April 2017.
Firefighters were called to the incident at 7.12am. Two fire appliances with crews attended from High Wycombe fire station as well as the Water Rescue Unit from Beaconsfield fire station.
The firefighters recovered the body of a man and gave assistance to officers from Thames Valley Police and members of the South Central ambulance service who also attended the incident.
The body was discovered by a member of the public who alerted the police. Part of The Rye was cordoned off until shortly after 11.00am while police officers carried out an investigation. The Rye has since been fully re-opened.
