Police charge man with robbery following incident in Frogmoor, High Wycombe

Frogmoor, High Wycombe.

A man has been charged following an incident which took place in Frogmoor, High Wycombe on Saturday 3rd June 2017.

On Tuesday 13th June 2017 an 18 year old man of Westway, Hammersmith and Fulham, London was charged with one count of robbery.

The charge is in connection with an incident that occurred at about 4.50pm on Saturday 3rd June 2017 in which a 47 year old woman sustained burns after a liquid, believed to be an alkaline substance, covered her while she was sitting on a bench in Frogmoor, High Wycombe.

As a result of the incident the woman sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. She has since been discharged.

No further action has been taken against three men aged 19, 20 and 24 who were arrested by Police earlier in June 2017 in connection with the incident on suspicion of GBH with intent.

The 18 year old man who has been charged with one count of robbery was remanded in custody to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 14th June 2017.
