Arson suspected after barn caught fire in Holmer Green

Firefighters were called to Penfold Lane, Holmer Green at 7.19pm on Wednesday 2nd August 2017 after a barn containing about 40 bales of hay caught fire.

Two fire appliances with crews attended from High Wycombe fire station as well as one from Amersham fire station. An officer also attended.

A main jet, hose reel and Positive Pressure Ventilation fan were used during the operation to extinguish the fire.

The suspected cause of the fire is arson.
