Motorcyclist seriously injured following collision in Stokenchurch
A serious injury road traffic collision occurred in Stokenchurch on Saturday 5th August 2017.
At around 8.30pm a man riding a blue Triumph Sports motorcycle was travelling on the A40 Oxford Road however the motorcycle left the road close to the junction of the A40 Oxford Road and Ibstone Road near the Stokenchurch Dog Rescue centre and Junction 5 of the M40.
The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was taken where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
Investigating officer PC Andrew Harper, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit based at Amersham, said: ‘We are keen to speak to anyone with any information about the collision and in particular we are looking to identify a large vehicle possibly a Land Rover Range Rover which we believe may have been travelling west away from Stokenchurch on the A40. We believe the driver of that vehicle may have witnessed the incident.

Two 23 year old men who live locally were arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice. They have been released under investigation.
