Plans to build 450 space multi-storey car park in Gerrards Cross

| August 16, 2017

A 450 space multi-storey car park may be coming to Station Road in Gerrards Cross.

Two independent capacity studies undertaken late in 2016  and early in 2017 have shown there is an increasing demand for additional car parking in Gerrards Cross town centre for shoppers, local businesses and residents.

The studies and many other discussions have confirmed there is a growing demand for parking in Gerrards Cross.

A proposal has been submitted to South Bucks District Council to construct a new 450 space multi-storey car park on the existing surface site in Station Road. The plans will be considered at a planning committee meeting on Wednesday 6th September 2017.

The proposals have been drawn up by Balfour Beatty, Broadway Malyan and Peter Brett Associates and are now on display at Gerrards Cross library, Gerrards Cross Memorial Centre and the South Bucks District Council offices in Denham until Tuesday 5th September 2017.

Displays will also be positioned in the Tesco and Waitrose stores in Gerrards Cross. Copies of the displays can also be downloaded from the South Bucks District Council website.

Comments on the proposals for the Station Road car park can be submitted for consideration using the planning pages on the South Bucks District Council website or by email to [email protected].
