Man robbed in Gordon Road in High Wycombe

A man has been robbed while walking in Gordon Road in High Wycombe.

On Wednesday 23rd August 2017, at around 8.05am, a man in his late twenties was walking along Gordon Road, High Wycombe when he was confronted by another man who demanded that he hand over his watch.

The offender threatened the man and made comments suggesting that he had a knife. As a result of the threats the victim feared he would be stabbed and handed over cash a quantity of cash to the offender.

The victim was uninjured and did not see a knife during the robbery.

The offender is described as a mixed race man with dirty unbrushed teeth. He had a scruffy looking goatee which was short and dark in colour. He was around 5ft 9ins tall, and slim build.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Howard Wynne of Local CID, based at High Wycombe police station, said: ‘We are appealing for anyone who was in Gordon Road at around 8.05am on 23 August to come forward.

We would also ask anyone who lives on Gordon Road, who may have seen or heard a disturbance to please get in touch.’
