Boy injured in GBH incident in Penn, High Wycombe

A boy was injured in a GBH incident in Penn, High Wycombe.

On Tuesday 31st October 2017, sometime between 8.00pm and 8.15pm an altercation occurred between two groups of youths at the playing fields near Ashley Drive.

As a result of the altercation a 16 year old boy was assaulted by a group of four youths and sustained an injury to his leg which was caused by a sharp object, possibly a knife.

All of the youths involved in assaulting the victim were wearing face coverings and dark coloured clothing.

The 16 year old victim was was taken to hospital for treatment, where he remains (as of Friday 3rd November 2017).

Investigating officer, Detective Constable David Mitchell, based at High Wycombe police station, said: ‘This incident has resulted in a boy sustaining an injury which has required hospital treatment.

I would like to appeal for anyone who has any information relating to this incident to get in touch.
