Wycombe Wanderers 2-1 Yeovil Town
Yeovil Town were welcomed to Adams Park on Saturday 25th November 2017 for a League Two match against Wycombe Wanderers.
Wycombe took the lead in the thirty seventh minute when Eberechi Eze shot from the centre of the box into the bottom left corner of the Yeovil goal.
Joe Jacobson made it two for the Chairboys when, in the forty third minute, he converted a penalty after Nathan Smith fouled Paris Cowan-Hall in the penalty area.
Just a minute later Francois Zoko put Yeovil back in the match with a shot into the top left corner of the Wycombe net.
The final few minutes of the first half saw both sides make attempts on goal but the score remained a 2-1 to Wycombe at half time.
The second half, while lively, failed to produce any more goals. Wycombe nearly scored in the ninety fifth minute of the match but the shot by Adebayo Akinfenwa hit the bar.
During the match Wycombe managed 54% possession and placed six of their sixteen shots on goal on target. Yeovil placed just three of their nine shots on target. The match saw thirty fouls, fourteen by Wycombe players and sixteen by Yeovil.
Wycombe climb to fifth in League Two following today’s game with thirty three points from twenty games.
The attendance at Adams Park was 3,834.
