M40 collision leaves woman injured

A woman was injured on Wednesday 28th March 2018 when two cars collided on the Southbound carriageway of the M40.

The collision occurred between junction 3 (Loudwater) and junction 2 (Beaconsfield).

Firefighters were called at 12.42pm. One fire appliance with crew attended from Beaconsfield fire station, one from Gerrards Cross fire station and one from High Wycombe fire station. An officer also attended.

The firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to release in injured woman from the wreckage of the vehicle in which she had been travelling.
