Bookshop in Penn to close after trading for over 65 years

A bookshop in Penn is to close after trading for over 65 years.

The Cottage Bookshop in Elm Road, Penn was established in 1951 however a decision has been taken to close as it is no longer a viable business.

With over 65,000 titles in stock the bookshop offers many out of print editions both in fiction and non-fiction including some leather bound volumes.

A message posted on the website said:

The Cottage Book shop in Penn Buckinghamshire has been trading for over 60 years, but it is now no longer a viable business. It is with regret I have had to make the sad decision to close.

We will continue to trade as long as possible.

I would like to thank all our loyal customers who have supported us over the years.
