Cash and jewellery stolen during aggravated burglary in Burnham

Cash and jewellery was stolen during an aggravated burglary in Burnham.

On Wednesday 1st August 2018, at about 11.20pm, three men wearing face coverings forced their way into a property in Iona Crescent, Burnham.

The offenders threatened a woman, man and three children who were inside the property before stealing cash and jewellery.

Police are hunting three males, believed to be adults, who are suspected to have carried out the aggravated burglary. The burglars fled the scene in a dark blue vehicle.

The occupants of the property were not injured during the incident.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Sarah Noah of Force CID, said: ‘This was a frightening incident for the victims, who are being supported by the force at this difficult time.
